Miss BEL AIR

The Bel Air Independence Day Committee, Inc., organizes, funds, manages and runs the all-day celebration of our Independence on July 4, in the Town of Bel Air, Maryland.

 

Miss Bel Air is the official hostess of the event, and competes in the Miss Maryland competition, a state program of the Miss America Organization. The Miss America Organization is one of the largest providers of scholarships to women in the world. Each year the organization offers millions in scholarships to its competitors.

The Miss America Foundation strives to change lives and influence young women across the country and around the world. The Miss America Organization offers academic and community-based scholarships for undergraduate and graduate studies, as well as endowed scholarships for those young women attending medical school, working in special areas for military service awareness, and in the performing arts.
