Miss BEL AIR

Eligibility Requirements

To compete for the title of Miss Bel Air, you must meet the following requirements:

• Born from 1996-2006

• Be a female

• Must not be married

• Live, work full-time, or attend school full-time in Maryland

• Must be a US Citizen

• Must meet character criteria as set forth by the Miss America Organization

• Be able to meet the time commitment and responsibilities set forth by the Miss Maryland and Miss Bel Air Organizations

• Be able to meet the time commitment and responsibilities as set for by the Miss Maryland program should you win the title

• Miss Maryland Orientation - Typically the 1st Saturday in May

• Miss Maryland Ad Pages Due - TBD

• Miss Maryland Competition Week - June 18-22, 2024

• Bel Air 4th of July Celebration - July 4, 2024

• Bel Air Holiday Parade - TBD

Paperwork Guidelines

Each contestant is required to create a Fact Sheet and Community Service Initiative (CSI). Click here for examples and instructions on how to format these documents.​

The Community Service Initiative requires each contestant to select an issue about which she cares deeply and is of relevance to our country. A CSI can be an existing program or organization, or it can be a unique topic for which a candidate wishes to advocate. Most importantly, a candidate should choose an issue she is passionate about, as it will be an important part of Miss Bel Air's year of service.
