Being Miss Bel Air

Congrats! You Won Miss Bel Air!
You got the call and you're the next Miss Bel Air. What happens now?
Paperwork
You have a few weeks to a month to complete all paperwork for Miss Maryland. Roughly this means
-
Headshots and other various photos
-
Notarized photo release form from whoever did your headshot
-
Contracts
-
Transcripts
-
Copies of resume/platform
-
Submitting your talent piece
-
Submitting production paperwork
-
And any other form there may be to fill out
The deadline is firm. You will have assistance with paperwork, but please be prepared to meet the deadline.
Ad Pages
Another paperwork-related thing that comes with winning is selling ad pages for the Miss Maryland program book. This year, the minimum is $600, or one full page. Family and friends, businesses, churches, your school, or your fundraising efforts can pay for ads. This may seem very daunting, but fortunately, you have a bit more time to complete them. Like paperwork, the key is to start early.
Competition
Once paperwork is completed, it is time to focus on the Miss Maryland competition. To help with your preparations, you will be put in contact with one of our "forever" Miss Bel Airs. She will assist with walking, styling, wardrobe, talent, interview preparations, and anything else you may need. We are very lucky to have a tight-knit group of former Miss Bel Airs who are happy to pitch in however they can. Don't be afraid to reach out to any of them!
